Performing Artist Award Competition Coming Up!

Audition date: April 12, 2015, 6:30 PM, Price Music Center, Room 110

The 2017 Arts NC State Performance Award auditions will be held as an open-to-public performance on April 12th at 110 Price Music Center.  Participants will be evaluated based on their preparation, artistry and stage presence.

The winner in each category (instrumental, voice and piano) will receive an award check in the amount of $200 and his/her name will be listed in the 2017-2018 ARTS NC STATE season playbill as the 2016-2017 Student Performing Artist in Music.

The judges may, at their discretion, not assign winners in each category. In that case the prize money will be divided as following: $500 if there is only one winner, $250 if there are two winners and $200 if there is a winner in each category. The decisions of the jury are final.

Applicants are required to provide their own accompanist if the piece has a piano part.
