ABOUT US (CHI SIAMO)
The North Carolina State University Chorale is the premier choral ensemble at NC State University. Dedicated to upholding the highest standard of the choral art through the performance of the greatest vocal works of all eras, the Chorale performs multiple concerts each semester. The Chorale consists of approximately 50 student singers, all of whom are earning academic degrees in fields other than music.

Pianos & Digital Pianos Available for Public Purchase Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 14-16, 2026 North Carolina State University has had the use of new, first-class Kawai pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2025–2026 school year. This arrangement with Kawai is provided through an association with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps support music education, and facilitated by Maus Piano in Raleigh. These instruments and others will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program that provides quality instruments for use by the student-musicians of NC State.
A large selection of grand pianos, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, and digital pianos will be available. This event will feature instruments from such famous makers as Kawai, Shigeru Kawai, a selection of vintage Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, and many others. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a 5–10-year service contract, are tuned and ready to enjoy. Delivery and technical services are provided by Maus Piano. Special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*

We are especially proud to share that our own Christa Oliver, Associate Teaching Professor and Director of the Panoramic Dance Project, has been invited as one of the choreographers for Please Be Seated—North Carolina. This collaborative performance activates the installation through movement and shared public space.
Dancers of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in this multigenerational performance celebrating art, movement, and community.

NC State’s Terrain Dance Project will present Themes of Gathering, a collection of new site-specific choreographic works at The Corner on Centennial Campus at 2 p.m. April 17 and 7 p.m. April 18. The Terrain Dance Project is a site-specific dance company dedicated to the creation and performance of choreographed and improvised dance works in nontraditional spaces, including dance film projects.
This interdisciplinary performance investigates The Corner as a site of gathering and identity, featuring live musicians and choreography by co-director Amy Love Beasley, guest artists Jill Guyton Nee and Anabelle Scarborough and NC State senior Annabelle Sharp. Select works explore the intersection of dance and science, inspired by work by NC State`s Gage Lab and the North Carolina Sweetpotato Commission. This project is supported by an arts and science grant from the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs and Arts NC State.
