The Department of Performing Arts and Technology has several opportunities for Federal Work-Study students interested in gaining hands-on experience in concerts and events or marketing and outreach. Read more about the positions and how to apply below.

Concert Coordinator Assistant
- Pay: $12 per hour
- Hours: ~5 hours per week with a flexible schedule
Work with the Concert Coordinator to support music and dance concerts and events, along with other department needs. This position is ideal for students interested in music or dance and hands-on event work.
Responsibilities may include:
- Setting up and striking concerts and events
- Assisting with ticketing
- Supporting music library operations
- Managing equipment rentals and tracking
- Supervising department facilities
- Recording audio and video
- Uploading, organizing and managing digital files
- Maintaining documentation in shared documents and spreadsheets
- Monitoring labs and open studios
- Some evening and weekend availability is required to assist with music and dance concerts and events.
Experience with audio and video recording equipment, file management, and working with documents and spreadsheets is preferred. Video editing and audio mixing in programs such as DaVinci Resolve, as well as experience uploading to YouTube, are a plus.

Marketing and Outreach Office Assistant
- Pay: $12 per hour
- Hours: ~6 hours per week with a flexible schedule
Work with the Marketing Coordinator to support department marketing, communications and general operations. This position is ideal for a responsible self-starter interested in marketing, social media, writing and content creation.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting marketing projects and managing social media content
- Writing and creating content for department communications
- Monitoring and responding to department email
- Providing information about department events and programs
- General office and department support
Strong writing skills, familiarity with AP style, and experience with Canva and WordPress are a plus.
