Community Dance Programs
For Middle and High School Teachers
Day of Dance :
Day of Dance is an opportunity for area high school dancers and their teachers to visit the university. Students are able to take a variety of dance classes taught by our faculty, attend a live performance by one of State’s student dance companies, and engage with current Dance Minors.
The event is offered once a year with registration opening in the fall for the spring event and recommended for high school sophomore and juniors. Enrollment is limited.
Contact performingartstech@ncsu.edu to have your school or studio added to our contact list.
Tickets – School groups of 10 or more may receive complimentary tickets for students, teachers and chaperones attending any of NC State Dance Program formal concerts as a group. In order to take advantage of this special offer, tickets must be reserved in advance. Reserving tickets for your school is quick and easy! Once you know how many tickets you need, please contact Tara Mullins at tzmullin@ncsu.edu. All performances begin at 7pm in Stewart Theatre, located in the Talley Student Union, and tickets may be picked up anytime after 6pm. Tickets are general admission and doors to the theatre will open at 6:30pm for seating.
