A Dancer’s Day at NC State
Day of Dance invites high school dancers and their teachers to NC State for an immersive experience designed to celebrate movement, creativity and community. Participants will gain insight into the university’s dance program while connecting with the faculty, students and spaces that make NC State Dance unique.
Details and Registration
Participants will have the opportunity to
- Take a variety of dance classes taught by our faculty.
- Engage with current dance students.
- Attend a live performance by one of our student dance companies.
Complimentary Tickets for Your Group
School groups of 10 or more may receive complimentary tickets for students, teachers and chaperones attending NC State Dance formal concerts together. Tickets must be reserved in advance.
Once you know your group size, please contact Tara Z. Mullins to reserve tickets.
- All performances begin at 7 p.m. in Stewart Theatre, located in the Talley Student Union. You may pick up your tickets anytime after 6 p.m.
- Tickets are general admission and doors to the theatre will open at 6:30 p.m. for seating.
Day of Dance is offered annually in the spring, with registration opening in the fall. The event is recommended for high school sophomores and juniors. Enrollment is limited.
