Arts Crisis Management Resources
Preparing for hard times
Artists and arts organizations are facing cancelled events, facility closures and lost income as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and our national economic crisis. Many artists are afraid for the survival of their venture, simultaneously unsure how to pay their bills today and how to build a resilient business for tomorrow.
In a free webinar on May 12, 2020, Dr. Gary Beckman introduced two tools (available for download below) to help independent artists, arts businesses and emerging arts entrepreneurs create a basic crisis management strategy and actionable plan suitable for navigating both the health and economic crisis of today and the traditional crises that arts ventures encounter. These tools will help you assess the unique needs, challenges and goals of your arts venture to craft a plan that will enable it to survive and thrive in uncertain times.
