Day of Dance is an opportunity for area high school dancers and their teachers to visit the university and learn more about dance on campus.
Experience a Day in the Life of a Dancer at NC State
- Take a variety of dance classes taught by our faculty
- Attend a live performance by one of our student dance companies
- Engage with current dance students
Who Can Participate
The event is offered once a year, with registration opening in the fall for the spring event and recommended for high school sophomores and juniors.

Please contact either Brianna Forbes or Christa Oliver to have your school or studio added to our contact list.
Tickets
School groups of 10 or more may receive complimentary tickets for students, teachers and chaperones attending any of NC State Dance Program formal concerts as a group. In order to take advantage of this special offer, tickets must be reserved in advance. Reserving tickets for your school is quick and easy!
Once you know how many tickets you need, please get in touch with Tara Mullins at tzmullin@ncsu.edu.
- All performances begin at 7 p.m. in Stewart Theatre, located in the Talley Student Union.
- You may pick up your tickets anytime after 6 p.m.
- Tickets are general admission and doors to the theatre will open at 6:30 p.m. for seating.
